Den Day Yr6

On the 17th of June 2016 year 6 took part in Den Day to raise money for Save the Children and also to have fun! We had lots of boxes and supplies to make our dens. We split up into groups and started creating our dens that we had to live in for the day. All of the finished dens looked wonderful and some of the class decided to move our dens outside. We had our lunch in our dens and just had fun seeing what it was like to actually live in a den. The Queen's 90th Birthday celebrations

On the 10th of June 2016 the whole school celebrated the Queen's 90th Birthday. We all dressed up in red, white and blue. We sang Happy Birthday and the National Anthem and everyone brought in lots of food for the picnic. Balloons and bunting were put up outside around the school. Pupils had a great time tucking in to their picnic.

Extreme mountain bikers!

On the 8th of June Sustrans and their stunt team came to visit. Everyone from Reception upwards watched the display. While the whole school, including the teachers, got involved. The school was amazed by the stunts and tricks that he did.
Jumping over metal poles

Mr Owen was a volunteer as to be jumped over while the school was at the edge of their seats with amazement and awe. Thankfully (for him) he survived unharmed and dazed!
