Family Mince Pie Make.




Thank you so much to the children, families and extra staff in nurture for a wonderful afternoon of making mince pies and sharing our successes. Here's to a very merry Christmas.

Christmas Come and Play in Reception

We welcomed our families into Reception this afternoon to share Christmas activities. We made Reindeer Antlers, Reindeer food and did Christmas colouring together. We had a lovely time together and thank everyone for coming.

Cultural Christmas Concert 2015

11 Year 3s took part in a super Christmas concert last night, singing their wonderful christingle songs. Other schools across Bedford brought something special to the event. It was a wonderful evening! 



YR watching a British Astronaut go into Space

All the children we're excited to watch Tim Peake blast off into space. We counted down until his rocket left the ground and watched until we could no longer see the rocket. The children really enjoyed watching a piece of history live this morning.

Year 5 make some clocks.


As part of the year 5 topic on 'Time', we have designed and made our own clocks. Everybody had to follow the instructions to finalise their clock mechanism and were all proud of their finished products.

Year 2 having fun learning about Diwali

This week we have been learning about Diwali! We have enjoyed making and colouring Rangoli patterns, painting our own mendhi designs on our hands using face paint, and sequencing the Diwali story. 




Sponge Bob visited YR today!

YR had their Sponge Bob Movie this afternoon and Sponge Bob came to share with them.

Year 4 Roman Soldier clay workshop

Local artist Mrs Houghton taught year 4 to make Roman soldiers from clay this afternoon. We now have our own Roman army!

Year 4 get building, Roman style!

Aqueducts come to year 4. The pupils have to measure, construct, stiffen and reinforce their structures in groups. Being a Roman was hard work!
