Year 5 Marshmallow Challenge

Five Bedford College students came in to year 5 to challenge our teamwork skills. As well as researching and designing some of the World's most famous buildings, they also had to build them!
From the Leaning Tower of Pisa to The Shard, and from the Burj Khalifa to the Eiffel Tower there were lots of facts -and lots of bits of spaghetti!

Dressing Up for World Book Day 2015.

Lots and lots of fantastic costumes at school today. Well done everyone! And a BIG thank you to all the parents and carers who came in to school over the last two days to read with their children. There was a fantastic turn out. Your support was very much appreciated.

World Book Day Dress Up

Don't Year 2 look wonderful all dressed as their favourite character from a book?!

Budding gardeners

Year 2 enjoyed planting some seeds and bulbs in their outside garden area today as part of their topic. Now to nurture them to help them grow!

Skeleton making!

As part of their 'We are Living' topic, Year 2 had fun with the skeleton challenge, which involved making a realistic skeleton out of dog bones!

On Thursday Year 5 visited the life education bus and learned about parts of the body. Year 5 did activities about what is important to them. They saw a brain that told them about how to keep their body safe. All of Year 5 liked it when the lights turned off and then they watched a video clip. Year 5 enjoyed seeing Harold the giraffe and stroking him.
