Year 3 Site visit
Some year 3 children went to see the new building. The work was progressing well with the drains being dug and the largest crane on site moving the roof steels in place for fitting. The next group should see the bricks being laid.

Year 1 cake decorating and Valentines Day

Year 3 enjoy tucking in to some Challah bread!
As part of their R.E. lesson today Year 3 got the chance to watch challah bread being prepared. This is a special bread eaten by Jews around the world every Friday to celebrate Shabbat. They especially enjoyed eating it afterwards!

Year 4 had fun learning French by running their own breakfast cafe!
Year 4 set up their own cafes and using euros they sold breakfast to their classmates. On the menu was:

Sign2Sing world record attempt!
The whole school joined with pupils all over the world to try and create a new Guinness World Record for simultaneous signing of a song. They raised around £80 for the charity SignHealth.
Year 3 and 4 numeracy
We have been learning how to read scales and measure accurately in grams to make cheesecakes. Delicious!
